Lewis & Clark College

Captured the District 2 singles championship in both 1978 (#2) and 1979 (#3) as well as the doubles championship with partner Peter McKittrick.  Was selected a District 2 All Star in ’78 and ’79 as Lewis & Clark went on to win the District 2 Team Championship.  He and McKittrick also brought home the conference doubles championship in 1979.  Wells posted a career record of 44-23 while earning four varsity letters in tennis.  He claimed runner-up honors in doubles at the conference championships in both 1980 and 1981 and at the 1980 District 2 tournament.
