Four-year letterwinner as a member of the Lewis & Clark track & field team. Randy was one of the most dominating long jumpers in Northwest Conference history. He placed 17-times at the NWC Championships, the most by any L&C athlete, he scored 57.75 points which is the sixth hightest total in school history. Randy is a three-time District Long Jump Champion (1970, 1972, 1973) and a two-time NWC Long Jump Champion (1972, 1973). He also holds the NWC conference long jump record with a distance of 24-00.50. Randy is a two-time team MVP (1972, 1973), while captaining the team in 1973.
