Lewis & Clark College

A two-sport athlete from 1988 to 1992, Jerry Walker was a three time track and field conference champion, a team captain, and still holds the school record for the 400 meters. He also was a member of the record-setting 4 x 400-meter relay team in 1991. His mark in the 200 meters still sits in the school’s all-time top ten. He won the 400 meters twice (1991, 1992) and was part of three conference champion relay teams.

Already a member of the 1989 Lewis & Clark football team, which was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009, Walker was also part of the 1991 football team that will be inducted tonight. Walker earned All-Columbia Football Association First-Team honors in 1991, the year he was the team’s defensive captain.
