In 1957, Lynn Roumagoux was the first Pioneers track and field student-athlete to earn All-America honors outside of field events. He is a former 880-meter school record holder, earning two All-District awards, three All-NWC selections and a district championship. His time in the 440-meter hurdles stood as the school record for 18 years and remains in the top four all-time. He finished fourth at nationals in the event and was named an All-American. Roumagoux was a member of the 1956 men's track and field team that was inducted into the Lewis & Clark Hall of Fame in 2010.
