The 1993-94 women’s basketball team became the highest nationally ranked team in L&C history at the time, moving to 11th in the NAIA National Basketball polls, and was the first women’s basketball team to qualify for the NAIA National Tournament, advancing to the quarterfinals. Winning the Northwest Conference of Independent Colleges (NCIC) with an 11-1 record, they were 26-5 overall and hold the school record in most rebounds and field goal attempts, shot 43.3% from the field, averaged 76.6 points per game, and had an average win margin of 13 points.
