Lisa Harunaga put together a tremendous career in three seasons with the women's tennis program. She earned First Team All-Conference honors in her first two years and added a NWC Second Team award as a senior. She also was recognized as the Pioneers Rookie of the Year for the 2006-07 season. During her sophomore campaign, Harunaga made it to the Finals of the Fall ITA in doubles and reached the semifinals in singles. Over the course of her three full seasons, she posted a 65-49 record while playing the majority of her matches at First Singles and First Doubles. She recorded a 33-24 mark in singles and 32-25 record in doubles. After notching 21 total victories as a first-year, Harunaga put together an incredible sophomore season. She went 14-1 in singles play and 12-4 in doubles action to finish the year 26-5 (83.9 winning percentage). She returned to the lineup as a senior, to help the team finish 11-8 in NWC play and earn a spot in the NWC Tournament Semifinals for the first time since 2003.Â
