Despite an injury that cost him his most of junior season, James Hollins only got stronger in putting together a phenomenal career on the hardwood. Hollins earned All-Conference honors four times, including being named to the NWC First Team in his fourth and fifth seasons. He was named the L&C Freshman of the Year for the 2008-09 school year and the NWC named him to the Second Team his first two seasons. Hollins was incredibly consistent, as he averaged double-digit points in all five years and led the team in scoring his final two seasons. Over the course of 104 games, Hollins amassed 1,484 points and 110 steals which both rank 10th in program history. He recorded 629 rebounds, 158 assists, 475 made field goals and 194 made 3-pointers. Hollins ranks first in program history for made free throws in a single-game. He went 16-20 from the line and finished with 45 points (three shy of the program record) and 14 rebounds on November 20, 2009 against William Jessup University. On top of his individual success, men's basketball earned trips to the NWC Tournament in all five of his seasons and posted a 74-56 during his career.
