Coached by Eldon Fix, the 1965 Track & Field Team won the Northwest Conference Championship with six individual event champions and a relay champion; NAIA District 2 Champions; athletes from this team were Conference record holders in five events (800, 1500, two mile, triple jump, 4x400 relay); team members earned NAIA All-American honors (Chris Miller- 2-mile run (Indoor), Don Aaberg- Mile Run, Chris Miller-Steeplechase).
