Three-time honorable mention All-American in basketball and three times selected to NWC and NAIA District 2 1st all-star teams; led Pioneers in scoring in 1970-72, averaging 21.5 points as a senior; career scoring average for three seasons was 17.9 in 82 games; played one year of football (1970) as a wide receiver and led team in scoring with 6 touchdowns; had 23 catches for 465 yards; all-NWC honorable mention.
