Three-year letterwinner in track & field, Raina is the L&C record holder in the triple jump and the long jump. She placed in the Northwest Conference Championships 13 times for a total of 46 points, which is the fourth highest total in Pioneer history. She is also ranked in the top-10 all-time at L&C in six individual events: 100m, 200m, 400m, long jump, triple jump and the heptathlon. Raina is a two-time NAIA All-American (1997). She finished fifth in the long jump and sixth in the triple jump to earn All-American honors in both events in 1997. Raina returned to Nationals in 1998 but did not qualify for the Finals in either event after suffering from an illness. She was named the Lois Smithwick Co-Athlete of the Year and Judy McMullen Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 1997.
