Three-year letter winner in track & field; 1987 NCAA Division III National Champion in the javelin throw; qualified for nationals in the javelin again in 1988 (finished 13th); three-time All-Conference in the javelin, placing third in 1986, 1987, and 1988; scored all three years in NAIA District #2 competition—finished 6th in 1986, 2nd in 1987, and 7th in 1988; school record holder in the javelin (146’3” in 1987); class record holder in the javelin for each of her three years (freshman-sophomore-junior); ranked on the L&C Top-20 all-time list in five individual events.
