Four-year letterman in track & field; honorable mention all-American and 1st team all-Northwest Conference in basketball in 1965; set school scoring record with 48 points against Portland State in 1965; best year was 1964-65 when he led the team with a 24-game average of 21.7 points and 11.0 rebounds; had a career scoring average of 15.3 in 83 games; was a high jumper in track with a best of 6 feet, 4 1/2 inches.
