A member of the Lewis & Clark track and field program from 2004-05, Jody Swan received All-American honors her first season. She twice competed at Nationals, winning the Northwest Conference championship in the 400-meter dash in 2004. That season, Swan received the Terry Angell Award for most inspirational conference meet performer. The next season, she was selected the Lewis & Clark Female Athlete of the Year. Four times, Swan was chosen All-NWC, her highest honor a First-Team selection in 2004 for the 400-meters. She also earned Second-Team nods for the 200-meters in 2004 and 400-meters in 2005, plus a Third-Team selection for the 200-meter dash in 2005. For the Pioneers, Swan holds the second-fastest time ever in the 400-meter dash and third-best mark in the 800-meter run. She was also a member of the 400 relay team that set the fourth-best mark all-time.
