Becca Carlton is the first individual from the women's rowing program to be inducted into the L&C Hall of Fame as a HOF inductee. During her time as a Pioneer, she helped the program take a massive step forward en route to the program's first-ever trip to the NCAA National Championship Regatta in 2006. Individually, Carlton spent four years on the varsity team and served as captain of the team in each of her final three seasons. Carlton was named Lewis & Clark's Woman of the Year in 2005 and earned First Team All-American accolades. Lewis & Clark was ranked in the top-15 in the US Rowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches' Association (CRCA) Poll in the spring of her junior year (15th) and again as the preseason #10 team her senior year. The varsity 8+ boat earned massive wins over conference foes at the Head of the Silcox Race (October 2004), Charlie Brown Regatta (October 2004) and the Governor's Cup (April 2005). She went on to serve as a collegiate coach with stops at Wellesley College, University of Minnesota, Stanford University, and the University of California Berkeley.
