First L&C player ever to win 12 varsity letters in four years; Named to nine all-Northwest Conference teams—twice in football, three times in basketball and all four years in baseball; a quarterback in football, a guard in basketball (where he led the team in scoring three years), and an outfielder in baseball (he led the team in hitting three seasons); he averaged  81 yards offense in 36 career football games;  13.0 points in 104 basketball games, and hit .339 in 87 baseball games.
