Lewis and Clark struck first as sophomore
Abby Hayes found junior
Celeste Schreifels at the top of the box. Schreifels scored her fourth goal of the season in the sixth minute of the game to put the Pios up 1-0. Pacific Lutheran then scored three straight to go up 3-1 by halftime.Â

In the second half, freshman
Delaney Jones entered her first NWC game as goalkeeper for the Pioneers. She had three saves in the half, but the Lutes' offense was too much for the Pios' defense. Pacific Lutheran added two more goals to seal the game.Â

- Hayes notched her first career assist on the Pios goal and was the only player to play the full 90 minutes today. She also had two shots and led the team with two shots on goal. Â
- Schreifels' goal is tied for the 17th fastest goal to start a game in Pio's history.
- Freshmen Abby Morrow and Elle Sparks recorded their first career shots and career shots on goal in today's game with one apiece.Â
- Jones saved her first two conference shots that she faced in the second half. Â
- With her goal, Schreifels moved into a tie for fourth in program history with 15 career goals. She also stands fifth in school history with 36 career points.Â
