Hauser and Dowling Finish With Double-Doubles To Lead Women's Basketball Over Pacific 66-57

FOREST GROVE, Ore. - Junior Neva Hauser put up her second consecutive double-double on Saturday night, scoring 16 points and pulling down 13 rebounds, in the Lewis & Clark women's basketball teams 66-57 Northwest Conference win over the Pacific (Ore.) Boxers. Classmate Margaret Dowling also finished the night with a double-double.

Lewis & Clark is now 11-4 on the season and 5-1 in conference play. Pacific falls to 5-10 overall and 1-5 in NWC action.

Hauser finished 5-of-8 from the free-throw line on her way to 16 points for the Pioneers. Defensively, she pulled down 13 rebounds and came up with two steals. Sophomore Kristina Williams also scored 16 points in the Pioneer victory, finishing 6-of-11 from the floor. Dowling's double-double saw her knock down 13 points and collect 10 boards in 31 minutes of action. The Pioneers also received 12 points from Daron Dean who ended the game 5-7 from the floor and 2-3 from the charity stripe.

Erica Shultz had a game-high 18 points for the Boxers, while Annette Highley chipped in 10 points.

The Pioneers return to the court on Friday, Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. for PAC(K) Pamplin when they host the Willamette Bearcats.
