SALEM, Ore. – Lewis & Clark College women's basketball could not recover from a 32-point second quarter by Willamette University, falling 82-57 in Northwest Conference action Friday night at Cone Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Junior
Lauryn Frederickson led the River Otters with 16 points and eight rebounds. She connected on three 3-pointers and added one assist.
Sophomore
Kaitlen Carns contributed 12 points and made two 3-pointers. She tallied five assists and recorded one steal.
Senior
Tatiana Rebanal provided 11 points off the bench, going 4-for-6 from the field and 3-for-3 from beyond the arc.
Junior
Kaela Guidry added 10 points on 4-for-8 shooting and made both free throw attempts.
Lewis & Clark opened the game with a strong start, taking an 8-5 lead after Rebanal connected on a 3-pointer at the 7:08 mark of the first quarter. The River Otters built their largest advantage at 22-14 with 1:36 remaining in the period. Carns scored seven first-quarter points, while Guidry and Rebanal added six each. Lewis & Clark shot 50 percent from the field in the opening frame and led 22-14 after one.
Willamette responded with a decisive second quarter, using a 13-0 run to seize control. The Bearcats outscored Lewis & Clark 32-10 in the period, shooting 75 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from 3-point range. Kaitlin Imai led the surge with 14 second-quarter points. Lewis & Clark managed just three field goals in the quarter and trailed 46-32 at halftime.
The Bearcats extended their lead to 61-45 after three quarters and maintained control with balanced scoring. Walden finished with a game-high 21 points on 7-for-12 shooting, including four 3-pointers. Imai added 16 points and six assists for Willamette.
Lewis & Clark shot 35.4 percent from the field for the game, including 47.1 percent from 3-point range. The River Otters converted three of six free throws. Willamette shot 45.2 percent overall and made 14 of 28 from beyond the arc.

- First-year Lilly Jordan grabbed six rebounds and recorded two steals.
- Junior Divinity Singleton pulled down seven rebounds and blocked one shot.
