Key Moments

The Pioneers started their final home game of the 2022 season with all eight seniors on the court for tipoff. Lewis & Clark was called for a technical foul for the wrong number of players on the court and started off 2-0 after Camy Aguinaldo made both free throws.

Cerne ended a 5-0 run by Pacific in the beginning of the first quarter with a drive to the basket to put the Pioneers on the board. After a few scores by Boxer Brilie Kovaloff, Cerne added four more points and a block. Cerne scored the first six points for the Pioneers.

Marchant started the scoring efforts for the Pioneers in the second half, putting the first eight points on the board for her team. A Boxers' layup and a three-pointer from Gray left the Pioneers down 31-24 with 8:40 left in the third quarter. Marchant answered with a three-pointer that was followed by a three from Gray. Down 34-27, Marchant tried for another three-pointer to make it a four-point game with 5:09 left in the third quarter.
