Box Score TACOMA, Wash. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers narrowed the gap in the second half, but the Pacific Lutheran Lutes pulled away in the fourth quarter, as the Pios lost 72-66 on Saturday.
Delsie Johnson had 18 points and six rebounds on 6 of 12 shooting from the field and 6 for 6 at the free-throw line. Jamison Richards scored 12 points, and Ishara Sorensen added a season-high nine from the bench. The Lutes had three in double figures led by Kasidy Javernick's 21.
Lewis & Clark trailed by 10 midway through the third, but took the lead, 47-46, with 2:48 in the third quarter. PLU was able to maintain a lead throughout the fourth quarter to win.
