Box Score FOREST GROVE, Ore. -- A difficult second quarter eventually had the Lewis & Clark Pioneers down by 17 in Friday's 69-56 loss to the Pacific Boxers.
Pacific outscored the Pios, 21-8, in the second period. The loss included a double-double from Delsie Johnson with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
The Pioneers scored half of their points (23) on second-chance opportunities. Johnson had six offensive rebounds, and Gabby Beltran brought in four more of the Pios' 16 total.

The Boxers (11-3, 5-0 NWC) broke a tie at the beginning of the second quarter by outscoring the Pios, 17-2. Camy Aguinaldo and Brillie Kovaloff combined for 26 of the Boxers' 37 first-half points.
Johnson scored 13 of her 22 in the second half on 5 of 10 shooting. The Pioneers whittled Pacific's halftime lead down to six in the third quarter on a bucket from Johnson, two from Jamison Richards, who finished with 13 points, and a three from Peyton Romo.
The Boxers ran the lead back to a game-high 17 with 2:37 left in the third quarter. Lewis & Clark (7-7, 2-3 NWC) led the fourth quarter, 14-13, not enough to overcome the deficit.
