Key Moments
Despite controlling early possession including two corner kicks, Willamette (3-4-0, 3-4-0 NWC) didn't take a single shot in the first 14 minutes of the game. Instead, the Pios tried first on one that went wide for Celeste Schreifels in the 15th minute. The Pios outshot Willamette, 7-5, in the opening half.

Pioneers goalkeeper Sophia Young made her lone save in that sequence in the 17th minute on a try by Emma Blackburn, who assisted on the first goal.
