Key Moments
The Pioneers dominated possession from early in the game, with McCullough firing off two shots within the first two minutes of play. Lewis & Clark controlled the ball well and kept the pressure high on Bearcats' goalie Jordan Roue. In the eighth minute, an attempt from Alexa Myers rebounded off the top of the net to a perfectly positioned Schreifels, who was able to head the ball into the right side of the goal to put the Pioneers on the scoreboard. McCullough added the second goal in the 18th minute while a big save from Prager with 10 minutes to go in the half kept the Pioneers up going into the break.
The second half started with a series of Pioneers' corner kicks that couldn't find the net. Just over 10 minutes into the half, a flurry of action in the midfield saw Sara Klott find McCullough for the Pioneers' third score of the game before Schreifels sealed the win off a penalty kick goal in the 65th minute.
