Box Score FOREST GROVE, Ore. -- Celeste Schreifels scored in the 49th minute to take the Lewis & Clark Pioneers to a 1-0 win over the Pacific Boxers on Saturday at Hanson Stadium.
The leading scorer in the Northwest Conference, Schreifels found the top corner unassisted to give the Pios the lead. Other than fouls, nearly all of the stats were even as both teams took eight shots and three corners.
Chloe Helenihi was issued a yellow card in the 52nd minute. Sophia Young and the Pios defense pitched another shutout with Young making two saves.

Key Moments
The Pioneers (9-5-1, 7-4-0 NWC) opened the game with a shot by Helenihi in the first minute that was saved by Catherine Corlett, who finished with three saves for the Boxers. In all, Helenihi took three shots, matching her career high, including one in the 17th minute that was blocked.
Schreifels also took three shots. Her first was wide in the 28th minute and another was on goal in the 48th. A minute later, she scored the game-winner.
Young stopped her first shot in the 30th minute on an effort by Lydia King. In the 38th, Brooklyn Yano was thwarted by Young. Pacific (5-8-1, 3-7-1 NWC) put one shot on the crossbar, another wide and had a corner in the game's final 10 minutes, but couldn't even the match.
Macy O'Hara had a shot on goal in the 84th for the Pioneers. She finished with two total shots, a season high.
