Box Score Portland, Ore. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers (3-11-2, 3-7-1) fought hard in an aggressive and foul-heavy game but couldn't score against the Pacific Boxers (3-10-2, 1-9-1) in an 0-2 loss. The Pioneers found an even match against Pacific and went almost shot for shot with them with nine opportunities (four on goal) to the Boxer's ten opportunities (five on goal).
Junior Caroline Hennes led the Pioneers with three shots while Anna Saucedo and Kennie Beighle supported with two each. Freshman Milan Davis tended goal for the Pios, making three saves in the first half. Both teams fought hard on the field with the Boxers racking up 10 fouls to the Pioneers 14. Lewis & Clark also uncharacteristically received three yellow cards, two of which were on the team.
