BOXSCORE

PORTLAND, Ore.- In Northwest Conference play Pacific Lutheran's Kaylie Rozell scored with five minutes left in sudden death double overtime to lead Pacific Lutheran to a 1-0 victory over Lewis & Clark Saturday at Griswold Stadium.

In the 105th minute Kristi D'Alessandro slipped the ball back to Rozell who fired a shot into the upper left corner from 15 yards out to give Pacific Lutheran the win.

Playing through heavy rain and wind both teams remained scoreless through regulation and the first overtime period.  Lewis & Clark outshot Pacific Luthern 20-19 but the Lutes held the Pioneers shotless in the overtime periods.  L&C was led my sophomore Emily Thompson's seven shots on goal.  Sophomore Anna Thorndike contributed five shots of her own.  PLU was lead by Rozell's four shots on goal while teammate Courtney Randall followed with three.

The Pioneers travel to Forest Grove on Oct 5. to face Pacific.  The game is scheduled to start at 12:00 PM.
