PORTLAND, Ore. - Lewis & Clark began the second half of league play with a 1-0 loss to Willamette at Griswold Stadium Wednesday night.  

Emma Sanders got Willamette on the board in the 39^th minute to give the Bearcats a 1-0 win.  

Lewis & Clark outshot Willamette 13 to 10.  The Pioneers were led by Anna Thorndike's five shots, two on goal.  Teammates Emily Thompson and Hannah Stoddard each had two.

L&C travels to Newberg, Ore. to continue league play with a matchup against George Fox on Saturday, Oct 16 at 12pm.
