Soccer Wins Battle Against Pacific, 2-0

BOX SCORE

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Lewis & Clark women's soccer team won their home game against the Pacific Boxers 2-0 this Saturday, September 29th.

With this win, the Pioneers bring their record to 2-5-1 total, and 2-2-1 in Northwest Conference (NWC) play. The Boxers drop to 4-3-3, and 2-3-1 in NWC play.

The game started off quickly for the Pioneers, with a goal by Traci Nakamura in the second minute, from a perfectly placed corner kick by Emilia Emmetti.

The next goal did not come until the end of the game, in the 88th minute. A shot from Kylie Carera hit the crossbar, and bounced perfectly to Sarah Breninger, who found the back of the net.

Lewis & Clark outshot Pacific 18 to 7, with Ratfield coming away from the game with six shots, three of which on goal. Breninger also had four shots, with two shots on goal.

The Pioneers return to play tomorrow, Sunday September 30th, at home against Linfield at 12 p
