TACOMA, Wash. - The Lewis & Clark women's
soccer team fell to the Pacific Lutheran Lutes on Saturday
afternoon in Northwest Conference action. The loss drops the
Pioneers to 2-1-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
Junior Natalie Stratton led the Pioneers in shots on goal with
two, while Lexi Bolton, Emy Emmetti and Andi Glaeser each had one.
Sophomore Elise Delgado played every minute in goal for the Pios,
coming up with six saves, while giving up two goals.
The Lutes outshot the Pioneers 18-9 in the contest, including an
11-3 advantage in the first half.
Both of the Lutes goals came three minutes apart in the first
half of action.
The Pioneers return to the field on Sunday, Sept. 19 at 12 p.m.
when they take on the Puget Sound Loggers.
