The Pioneer women's soccer team were unable to capture a win, falling 4-2 (boxscore) against the Willamette Bearcats this afternoon in their last home game of the 2008 season. Brittany Larson and Stephanie Thurin provided the goals for the Pioneers.

Lewis & Clark was able to jump out to an early 2-0 lead, but was unable to hold off the Bearcats, surrendering two late first half goals. In the thirty-eighth minute Samantha Post opened the Bearcats scoring and Rachel Janny tied the game with seconds remaining in the first half. In the second half, Willamette pulled away with goals by Emily Gross and Kimber Mattox.
