Miriam Reside ran a top-100 time in NCAA DIII this season to set the program record in the 600M, to lead Lewis & Clark College women's track & field in their 2026 season opener.Â

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ

Reside led the River Otters in the 600M and helped the River Otters' top 4x400M Relay Team add a top-10 time in program history on Sunday at the Portland Indoor #1 Meet.Â
Â
Reside finished eighth out of 28 runners in the 600M when she crossed the line in 1:44.15. Her time broke the program record in the event by over eight seconds.Â

Junior
Carolyn Mayberry finished 18
th overall and posted the second-fastest time in program history (1:52.50). Sophomore
Maeva Conroy tacked on the fourth-fastest time in program history when she posted a time of 1:53.30 to place 19
th. Junior
Mackenzie Olver came across in 1:54.03 to place 21
st. First year
Katherine Scannell placed 22
nd overall and posted the fifth-fastest time in program history (1:54.72).Â

Sophomore
Talia Tomhave led Lewis & Clark in the Mile. Tomhave crossed the line in a PR time of 5:59.04 to finish in 32
nd. Senior
Emogene Lutz came across in 36
th overall with a mark of 6:03.92. Fellow senior
Ali Kerschner registered a PR time of 6:07.30 to place 38
th. First year
Tesla Curtis came in 47
th place with a time of 6:41.64.Â

Rose Dinh and senior
Anli Davis represented Lewis & Clark in the 200M. Dinh finished in 24
th place with a time of 29.76. Davis placed 34
th in the event, when she registered a time of 31.73.Â

Lewis & Clark entered three relay teams in the 4x400M Relay.Â

The River Otters "A" team of Olver, Reside, first year
Sofia Figueroa and Mayberry combined to post the sixth-fastest time in school history. The quartet came across in 4:36.37 to finish in seventh place.Â

Davis, Dinh, Conroy and Scannell finished second on the team and ninth overall. They turned in a mark of 4:51.45 to move to ninth in program history. Curtis, Kerschner, Lutz and Tomhave placed 10
th with a time of 5:09.89. Their time moved them into 10
th all-time in the event.Â

- Figueroa made her collegiate debut on Sunday when she ran the third leg of the 4x400M Relay.Â
