PORTLAND, Ore.—Lewis & Clark College track & field kicks off their 2026 season this Sunday, when they travel to the University of Portland for the Portland Indoor #1 Meet. Ahead of their season opener, head coach
Chris Reed discussed the team's 14 incoming student-athletes.
Track & Field added eight first years on the men's side and five to the women's team. This year's class includes 10 dual-sport athletes and four track & field specific student-athletes.
"We have an exciting group of newcomers this year, some of whom fill some gaps, and others who add depth and talent to some of our stronger event groups," Reed said. "On the men's side, keep an eye out for
Zane Bryant,
Duncan O'Kelly,
Cody Strozyk, and
Forrest Holt in terms of being immediate contributors at the NWC level. For the women, we've been impressed by
Sofia Figueroa this fall and are keen to see what she's able to do this spring."
