Fung finished first in the 400M Hurdles to become the fourth NWC Champion in the event in program history. He came into the weekend seeded first overall and finished second in Saturday's prelims. In the Finals, Fung went over the final hurdle in a near three-way tie with defending NWC Champion Grady Lemma (Pacific Lutheran) and Saturday's top qualifier Myles Crandall (Willamette).
