TACOMA, Wash.—Junior Angie Cummings posted a pair of wins and seniors Elise Barton and Aniqah Gaffoor tacked on one win apiece on Saturday against Pacific Lutheran University in a dual meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 
The River Otters posted a season-high in event victories and points but couldn't keep up with host Pacific Lutheran University in their final dual meet of 2025. 
 
Cummings posted her first win in a freestyle event this season, when she placed first out of seven swimmers in the 200 Free. Cummings kept her perfect record going in Backstroke events when she won the 200 Backstroke. The junior defeated five other swimmers to win by nearly two seconds with a final time of 2:15.49. 
 
Barton posted her second win of the weekend with a first-place showing in the 50 Free. Barton touched the wall in 25.51 to win by over 0.50 seconds. 
 
Gaffoor earned her first win of the season with a victory in the 50 Fly. She touched the wall in 27.70 to defeat PLU's Harpe Canessa by just over 0.50 seconds. 
 
First year Zoe Thorpe earned a collegiate-best second-place finish in the 50 Yard Backstroke. She posted a time of 32.76. 
 
Junior Sophie Justus (100 Free) and Cummings (500 Free) added second-place finishes. Both relay teams also finished second overall. The 400 Medley Relay Team of Cummings, Gafoor, Barton and Thorpe closed in 4:31.26. Ella Gimon, Justice, Emily McAnally and Claire Hurty combined for a time of 4:09.99 in the 400 Yard Free Relay. 
 
WHO'S NEXT 
 
Lewis & Clark will travel to California for the University of La Verne's Winter Collegiate Swim Invite. The meet will take place from November 21-23.
