GREENWOOD, Ind.āFour Lewis & Clark College men's soccer players were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA DIII Men's Soccer Academic All-District Team, the CSC announced on Tuesday morning.

Ishan Abraham was recognized for a program-record, third-consecutive season. Juniors
Dylan Weinstein and
Emmett Olson were each honored for a second-straight year. Sophomore
Sam Gunderson picked up his first career Academic All-District accolades.Ā

To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District honor, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and must have competed in 90 percent or started in at least 66 percent of the games played by the team for the fall season.

Abraham closed out his career with a third-straight Academic All-District award. The San Francisco, California native is a Computer Science & Mathematics major and an Entrepreneurial Leadership and Data Science minor. During his senior season, Abraham he played in all 20 games and made nine starts. For his career, he appeared in 66 of 67 games and scored two goals in 31 starts.Ā

Weinstein earned his second-straight All-District recognition. The junior midfielder from Seattle, Washington is a Biology major. He finished the season as the only Pioneer to start all 20 games and led the team with 1,707 minutes played. Weinstein also led Lewis & Clark with three goals and seven points and finished tied for second with one assist. Through three seasons, Weinstein has played in 59 games and racked up four goals and two assists.Ā

Olson is another repeat Academic All-District honoree. The junior from Seattle, Washington is a Biology major and an Earth System Science minor. Olson played in 18 games and started 14 games in the middle of the Lewis & Clark back line. The center back has played in at least 17 games in each of his first three years and has started 46 of his 53 career appearances.Ā

Gunderson was Lewis & Clark's lone first-time honoree. The sophomore outside back from Agoura Hills, California is a Psychology major with a minor in Neuroscience. Gunderson started in 19 contests and finished the year fourth on the team with his 1,421 minutes played. He has been a consistent starter when healthy throughout his first two years and appeared in 34 games (31 starts) through his sophomore season.Ā
