The Pioneers celebrated the team's nine seniors prior to the game:

Conor Esler. The Class of 2026 committed to Lewis & Clark as the first incoming class when the program was reinstated to varsity status ahead of the 2022 season.Ā

Lewis & Clark kept things close with the Bearcats through the first 45 minutes as they searched for their first win. Willamette scored two quick goals to start the second half to take full control of the contest.Ā

Cloutier posted all eight of the Pioneers saves in the contest and allowed just two goals in 56:42.Ā
Ā
Both teams nearly scored in the first six minutes. Willamette put the ball in the back of the net in the third minute but the goal was wiped out due to a player being offside. Lewis & Clark nearly scored in the sixth minute. Schwartz sent a cross to the back post but Abraham's shot from 10 yards out was knocked out by the Willamette keeper as it was about go over the goal line.Ā

Willamette grabbed the lead in the 13
thĀ minute off a corner kick. The Bearcats employed a short corner routine and the ball found Haydn Duncan out in front for a header goal.Ā

Senior Rory McKee scored twice in just over a minute to start the second half. He made it 2-0 at 45:59 and added a header goal at 47:06 to push the lead to 5-0.Ā

- Willamette finished the game with a 29-5 lead in shots and a 13-4 lead in shots on goal.Ā
- Deleger made his first collegiate start on Senior Day.Ā
- Cloutier's eight saves were his most this season and the second-most of his collegiate career.Ā Ā The senior went over 1,000 career minutes on Saturday and finishes his career with 1,081 minutes and 43 seconds.Ā
- Abraham finishes his career having played in a program-high 66 contests. He played in all but one game over the past four seasons.Ā
- Schwartz (five goals) and Walson (four assists) closed out their careers as the program's leaders since it returned to varsity status in 2022.Ā
