KEY MOMENTS GAME ONE: LEWIS & CLARK 9-4

Lewis & Clark scored the first five runs of the game and that proved more than enough for Hill to win her first collegiate game.

The junior went seven innings and scattered six hits, one walk and four runs (three earned). She recorded her first collegiate complete game and win in the victory.

Brackin registered four of the team's 16 hits. The senior first baseman went 4-5 with three runs scored and a double.

Riley Anderson finished 2-4 with two runs, one RBI and a solo home run. Braylin Jenson added two hits and an RBI and Alyssa Hoeke finished 2-4. Freshman Katie Ingersoll walked twice and chipped in two RBI and a run scored.

The Pioneers did all of their scoring damage in three innings.

In the second inning, Brackin led off with a double and easily scored on Moffitt's one-out RBI single. The Pioneers loaded the bases with two outs on a walk and single and then stretched their lead to 3-0 on a Sagehens error and a Mari Alvarez RBI single.

Lewis & Clark doubled their edge to 6-0 in the third. With one out and the bases loaded, Jules Henderson delivered an RBI single to score Anderson. Ingersoll drove in Brackin on a fielder's choice and Jenson made it 6-0 with an RBI single that plated Moffitt.

The hosts answered back with two runs in the third and a single run in the fifth to cut the defict to 6-3 after five.

Lewis & Clark had one final three-run frame to put the game away. Anderson started the inning with a solo shot. Brackin and Kalea Kaui followed with singles and moved up a base on a wild pitch. Brackin scored on a second wild pitch and Kaui scampered home on an Ingersoll sacrifice fly.

KEY MOMENTS GAME TWO: LEWIS & CLARK 10-2

Lewis & Clark scored the final 10 runs of the game to cruise to their first non-conference doubleheader sweep of the season.

Crusberg was fantastic in the circle to earn her first win of the year. She went four innings and limited Pomona-Pitzer to six hits, two walks and two earned runs. Abe came on in the fifth and allowed just one hit, while striking out two in three innings of relief.

Brackin and Moffitt each posted three hits in the victory. Brackin went 3-5 with two runs, three RBI and the go-ahead home run. Moffitt finished with a line of 3-5 with two runs, an RBI and a double.

Hoeke went 1-4 with a run scored and two RBI out of the leadoff spot and Anderson chipped in with one hit, two runs scored, an RBI and another home run.

After going down 2-0 in the first, Lewis & Clark used the middle innings to take the lead and a seven-run seventh to blow the game wide open.

Anderson made it a 2-1 game in the top of the third when she hit her team-leading sixth home run of the season.

In the fifth, Moffitt led off with a single and was able to walk home on a Brackin two-run blast that gave the Pioneers the lead for good (3-2).

Abe come on for Crusberg in the bottom of the inning and limited the Sagehens to one baserunner in the final three frames (a two-out double).

Lewis & Clark put the game away in the seventh.

Mia Lopez started the scoring with an RBI double that scored Anderson. After a pitching change, Kaui put down a squeeze bunt that plated Brackin.

With two outs, Jules Henderson started a run of six-straight Pioneers reaching. Henderson's RBI single scored Pippi Jepsen to make it 6-2. After an Alvarez double, Hoeke added a two-run double of her own to make it a six-run game. Moffitt hit a third-straight double to score Hoeke. Another Sagehens error extended the inning and Brackin capped off the scoring with an RBI single.
