Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers closed out their weekend tournament play against the Warner Pacific Knights, losing 75-71. The Pioneers played a tight game with the Knights, trading the lead back and forth throughout the game but were unable to create a play on their final possession, sealing the win for Warner Pacific.
The Pioneers had 36 rebounds to the Knights' 37, and shot 83.3 percent from the free-throw line in a foul-heavy game. They were able to convert 13 points off of turnovers. The bench contributed 14 points.
Brenden Patrick led scoring efforts with 19 points, while Grant Stewart, Jalen Lowery and Solomon Davis all contributed 10. Davis had eight of the Pioneers' 36 rebounds while Jack Henderson had two of the Pioneers' four blocks.

Key Moments
The final minutes of the game saw multiple lead changes and a tight finish. The Pioneers closed the gap with the Knights with just under eight minutes to play in the second half off of back-to-back jumpers and a free throw from Davis. Warner Pacific's Issac Etter responded with a layup to push the Pioneers back down two a two-point deficit but fouled Patrick in the process. Patrick went 2-2 from the line to bring the teams even again at 60-60. The Knights found the momentum to pull away again through the next few minutes until Lowery was fouled on a layup by Nigel McKay to bring Lewis & Clark back within one. Tyrese Yussef-Willis missed his next layup attempt which was rebounded by Davis and handed off to Lowery to finally put the Pioneers ahead with 1:50 to play. Yussef-Willis responded with back-to-back buckets for a three-point Warner Pacific lead, prompting Lewis & Clark to use their final timeout. The Pioneers were unable to hold on to the ball during possession and Miles Brown sank 1-2 free throws to put the win out of reach.
