Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. -- On the heels of a five-set marathon the night before, the Lewis & Clark Pioneers finished their weekend with a 25-20, 25-20, 25-22 win over the Whitman Blues on Saturday at Pamplin Sports Center.
Kelsey Parker led the Pios with 15 kills, and Izzy Willis added 13 more. Jenna Timmerman started the match, had two kills and two blocks.

Key Moments
The tightest match on paper was the opener, which featured five ties and two lead changes. Parker had seven kills on .600 hitting in the first. Overall, Parker landed seven of her 15 kills off the first-ball attack.
In the third, however, the Blues closed what was a pair of seven-point deficits to within one, 17-16, after Nicole Kelly held serve for Whitman through five points. Leading by one, Willis put down two kills, Annika Traxler had one of her four kills, and McGinn and Timmerman added one apiece to help close out the set.
Willis was strongest in the final two sets with five and six kills during the second and third, respectively.
Katie Shimaura and Kelsie Nakashima held the co-lead for most digs with 13 each, the third-highest total for Lewis & Clark in a three-set match this season.
