GREENWOOD, Ind. — The College Sports Communicators named four Lewis & Clark College volleyball players to the 2024 NCAA Division III CSC Academic All-District Volleyball Team on Tuesday.

Ruby Kuerschner earned Academic All-District honors for the second straight year, while sophomore
Ainsley Mochrie was named All-District for the first time.
Academic All-District eligibility requires student-athletes to be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA and compete in 90% or start in at least 66% of the team's sets during the fall season.
Kuerschner, a psychology major from San Rafael, California, started 22 of 23 matches as setter. She led Lewis & Clark with 324 assists and averaged 4.21 assists per set. Kuerschner added 162 digs, 72 kills, 21 aces and 16 total blocks. She posted double-digit assists in 19 of the 22 matches in which she was the setter, including a season-high 28 against Pacific on October 24. Her season also included five matches with at least 10 digs.
Mochrie, from Roseville, California, has yet to declare a major. She appeared in all 23 matches and played 72 sets as a defensive specialist and libero. Mochrie recorded 79 digs and averaged 1.10 digs per set. She also finished with 29 assists, four aces and 52 receptions with a .877 reception percentage. She posted a career-high eight digs at Linfield on November 8 and added a kill in the match.
For the third straight year, women's volleyball has placed multiple student-athletes on the CSC Academic All-District Team.
