Key Moments

Despite hitting .242, their second-best set of the game, Lewis & Clark lost the opening set. Willamette hit as well as it would all night (.243) and rode a two-point margin all the way to the end of the set.

Willamette's Natalie Klotz had six of her seven kills in the first set, but left early in the second with an injury.

"I wish Natalie from Willamette a speedy recovery," Lewis & Clark interim head coach Kaiao Nahale-a said. "It's never fun to see a top player or any player go down with an injury. I wish her all the best."

Lewis & Clark won the second set by the largest margin of the match, eight points, behind four kills apiece from Chun and Willis, while McGinn had all three of her aces in the set.

In all, Chun and Willis had four kills each in all of the first three sets, while Chun added four more in the fourth. Her 16 kills in the match are a new career high.

"Night in and night out, it's so tough in the NWC," Nahale-a said. "Willamette came ready to play. I'm glad that our team was ready and willing to respond to the challenge tonight."

Sydney Richardson ended the match on a dump for her only kill of the night to go with 12 assists.
