Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers hosted the Puget Sound Loggers Saturday night at Pamplin Sports Center, winning their first conference game since playing Willamette in December. The Pios defeated the Loggers 89-73, leading the game from start to finish. Zeke Crawford's six blocks in the game tied the Lewis & Clark record. Crawford has already broken Lewis & Clark's career-blocks record and is on track to reach the record for blocks in a season.
Brian Smith led the scoring efforts with 23 points, his second-highest scoring game of the season. He went 7-9 from the field and was perfect from behind the arch, hitting five of five 3-pointers. He rounded out his performance with one block and three assists and steals apiece. Smith and Crawford led rebounding efforts with eight each.
Brenden Patrick and Matt Brown were also big contributors, each hitting double-digits. Patrick's 19 points is a new career-high for the freshman, while Brown added another four assists for 43 in the season. Crawford's additional seven assists helped the Pios to match their third-highest amount of assists in a game.

The Pioneers were the first to put points on the board, with Patrick setting the pace for the team early. He scored four points in the first two minutes of play, putting up 12 for Lewis & Clark before the end of the half. Crawford logged three blocks by 18:13 in the first, denying back-to-back layups by the Loggers before turning a defensive rebound over to Patrick for a jump shot that put the Pios up 4-0.
Smith also contributed 12 points in the first, going 3-3 in 3-pointers. His three steals of the game came in the last six minutes of the half, resulting in four points for the Pioneers, who went into halftime up by 13.
Daelon Floyd and Grant Stewart combined for 15 points and six rebounds. Floyd's second half also saw him make five free throws, two assists and one block. Stewart put the Pios up by 20 in the second when he turned a steal into a dunk to bring the score to 68-48.
