Box Score 2 LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers continued their winning streak at the Washington & Lee Invitational. The Pioneers defeated the Washington & Lee Generals (25-18, 17-25, 25-21, 23-25, 15-13) and the DeSales Bulldogs (25-18, 14-25, 25-22, 13-25) back to back on Saturday, their last day in Virginia.
The Pios took the Generals to a five-set match where Kortney Meyer hit a .382. Ka'anelaokapu'uwai Pakaki-Pias had a career high of her own finishing with 26 digs. In the second match, the Pioneers finished their East coast debut with a four set win over the Bulldogs. Ka'anelaokapu'uwai Pakaki-Pias continued to lead the team defensively with 14 digs, and Kendall Malone hit a career high of .300.
The Pioneers had three players selected for the Washington & Lee Invitational All-Tournament Team.
