SALEM, Ore.- The Lewis & Clark volleyball team handed the Willamette Bearcats a 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-16) loss on Friday night in Northwest Conference action to even the series at 1-1. 

The Pioneers improve to 9-9 on the season and 3-6 in conference play, while the Bearcats improve to 10-9 overall and 5-5 in the NWC.

Isabel Valentine and Brigitte Russo paced the Pioneers with 11 kills apiece. Kataleya Milan added nine kills and 10 digs for L&C. Alexe Navarro earned a match-high 18 digs for the Pioneers, while Emily Drake picked up 19 assists.

Alexa Dowdesll and Taylor Lum led the Bearcats with seven kills each.

The Pioneers will return home for their Breast Caner Awareness match on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. against Pacific.
