Volleyball Falls to Strong Concordia (Ore.) Side 3-0

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark volleyball team continued its season on the road, traveling across town for a match-up with NAIA powerhouse Concordia. The Cavaliers earned a 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-15) win over the Pioneers on Wednesday night at the Concordia Gymnasium.  

The loss drops the Pioneers to 0-5 on the season, while the Cavaliers improve to 5-2 overall. 

Lewis & Clark was led by 10 kills from junior Kataleya Milan, while Isabel Valentine contributed six and Brigitte Russo five. Valentine finished with a team-high three blocks. Kayla Ernewein added two blocks. 

Amanda Goringe and Jackie Stein each had nine kills and three blocks in the Cavs win. 

The Pioneers return to the court on Friday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. at New Hope Christian.
