Volleyball Loses 3-0 Road Match Against Pacific

FOREST GROVE, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark volleyball team dropped a Northwest Conference  match-up on the road against Pacific 3-0 on Friday night. The Boxers won the match 25-15, 25-22, 25-19.

The Pioneers were led offensively by Brigitte Russo who recorded eight kills on the night and Alicia Callejo-Black who had five kills on just seven attempts, recording a .571 hitting percentage. Callejo-Black also tallied two solo and two block assists.  Setter, Leia Matsunaga dished out 21 assists.

Marie Rewick and Alexa Block  each finished with 13 kills for Pacific. Becky Sheller came up with 20 digs for the Boxers, while Block, Mariah Holland and Hannah Smargiassi each knocked down three blocks.

Lewis & Clark returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. when they host #19 Pacific Lutheran.
