Softball Cannot Take Down Pacific Lutheran

Game One

Game Two

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark softball team had its hands full on Saturday afternoon with the second best team in the Northwest Conference, as the Lutes of Pacific Lutheran won both games of the double-header. The Lutes won the first game 8-0 and second 10-0.

Game one was all Pacific Lutheran as the Pioneers did not manage a hit. The Lutes posted two runs in both the first and third innings, before tacking on another in the fourth. PLU sealed the game in the sixth with three runs for the win.

Jet'aime Mullins, Kelsey Buck and Caitlin Basilio put the bat on the ball in game two, collaborating for the Pios three hits.

Despite earning a couple hits, the Pioneers could not plate a run unlike their counterparts who scored in the first four innings.

The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, April 14 at 12 p.m. when they take on Pacific in Forest Grove.
