Softball Drops Makeup Game With #25 Corban 7-0

BOX SCORE

SALEM, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark softball team hit the road to makeup its previously scheduled game against #25 Corban on Thursday, falling to the Warriors 7-0.

Taylor Gatti and Ariel Wilks each finished the day one for one from the plate, while senior Caitlin Relyea picked up the only other Pioneer hit, finishing one for two.

Once again the first inning of action was the Pioneers downfall, with the Warriors scoring four runs in the first on two errors. Corban tacked on another run in the second inning, forcing the Pioneers to make a pitching change.

After a scoreless third inning, Corban once again sent a player across the plate in the fourth. The Warriors finished the scoring in the fifth inning with an RBI double.

Lewis & Clark returns home for its next contest, hosting George Fox on Saturday, March 10 at 12 p.m. in Northwest Conference action.
