#10 Puget Sound Too Much For Volleyball

TACOMA, Wash. - The #10 ranked Puget Sound Loggers proved to be too much for the Lewis & Clark volleyball team to handle, as the Pioneers fell 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-13).

The Pioneers fall to 6-11 on the season and 2-6 in Northwest Conference action. The Loggers improve to 12-4 overall and 6-2 in conference.

Kataleya Milan was the only player to finish with double digit kills for the Pioneers, knocking down 11. Alicia Callejo-Black ended her night with six kills while picking up a team-high two blocks. Alexi Provost-Shean also ended her night with a team-high two blocks.

Jackie Harvey led the Loggers with 13 kills, while teammate Marissa Florant contributed nine. Kristen Best was the match leader in blocks with four.

The Pioneers return to the court on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. when they host George Fox.
