THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - The Lewis & Clark volleyball team split its final day of the Posada Royale Invitational with a tournament opening loss to La Verne and then a closing victory over Redlands.

In their first contest of the day, the Pioneers were unable to take down La Verne, falling 3-0. The Pios bounced back to close out the tournament on a high note with a 3-0 win over Redlands.

The team opens Northwest Conference action on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. when they travel to Tacoma, Wash. to face Puget Sound.
